The crew and agency climb aboard
We certainly are getting around the Bahamas…pretty much every day we are flying or boating from one island to the next to meet new characters to interview for the The Bahamas UK campaign. Its great introductory geography lesson on the differentiating factors of each of main islands of the Bahamas.
Biggest trouble is fitting all of our gear onto the small planes. More than once we have had to leave our client behind, graciously giving up her seat so we load another case full of production equipment. And that’s having parred down all the gear extensively before leaving the UK. It was certainly lucky that Pete, the photographer on the trip, and myself, shooting video, were both using the same camera – the Canon 5D MKII. It made sharing and consolidating a whole lot easier. One of the best things is to get a golf hard case to fill with stands and things. Not only does it travel well but its great on those flights where they want to charge you for extra baggage. More than a few times I have gotten away with claiming they were my golf clubs, conveniently free on many vacation destination flights.
